Maureen joined the Department for Education and Skills as a founder Director for the Innovation Unit in 2002 and until 2006 has been leading the development and implementation of the Leading Edge Partnership Programme. Prior to taking up her post with the DfES, Maureen was Head of Policy and Communications at the GTC where she initiated policy and practice to promote informed professionalism and accountability throughout the education system. Maureen has extensive, successful experience in promoting effective partnership working, collaboration and innovation across the education sector.
