Barbi is a highly experienced senior leader in the schools sector. Her senior leadership experience spans a period of eighteen years in a wide variety of schools and communities across the country. Barbi has held three secondary headships in Inner and Outer London, encompassing a church school, a specialist college and an Academy. Each has resulted in significant increased attainment, post-16 expansion and a wide network of collaborative learning partnerships.Now as an Alligan education consultant, Barbi is involved in the development and growth of new Academies and the BSF programme, working closely with Headteachers/Principals, DfE, Sponsor and LA representatives. The breadth of her experience enables her to understand the issues, interpret the evidence within its context and offer both challenge and support in identifying strategies for school improvement.
