Educational consultant for Alligan since 2002, Stephen has advised the DfE Academies Division, Sponsors, Principals and Project Managers on learning environments and curriculum planning. He has devised innovative curriculum plans, timetable frameworks, staffing structures and accommodation schedules to support personalised learning and developed design briefs for architects. Stephen has worked on the Walthamstow, Enfield, Lambeth, Northampton, Peckham, West London, Immingham and South Bristol (Hengrove) Academy projects.Stephen as been a consultant to the DfE since 1999. His work has included editing case studies on School Self Evaluation and case study work on Education Action Zones. In May 2002, he was asked to act as a consultant to the DfES Innovation Unit at the time of its launch; over the next four years he worked particularly on the Leading Edge Partnership Programme, assessing bids, writing reports, developing the Innovation Exchange model, and carrying out evaluation work.
